وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونِ 1
Wat teeni waz zaitoon
By the fig and the olive
وَطُورِ سِينِينَ 2
Wa toori sineen
And Mount Sinai
وَهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ ٱلۡأَمِينِ 3
Wa haazal balad-il ameen
And this safe land
لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِيٓ أَحۡسَنِ تَقۡوِيمࣲ 4
Laqad khalaqnal insaana fee ahsani taqweem
We created man in the best design
ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَٰهُ أَسۡفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ 5
Thumma ra dad naahu asfala saafileen
Then reduced him to the lowest of the low
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُونࣲ 6
Ill-lal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati; falahum ajrun ghairu mamnoon
Except those who believe and do righteous deeds; for them is a reward without end
فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعۡدُ بِٱلدِّينِ 7
Fama yu kaz zibuka b'adu bid deen
So why do you still reject the religion
أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحۡكَمِ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ 8
Alai sal laahu bi-ahkamil haakimeen
Is God not the Wisest of the wise

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أُرَاهُ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِشَاءِ {وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ} فَمَا سَمِعْتُ أَحَدًا أَحْسَنَ صَوْتًا أَوْ قِرَاءَةً مِنْهُ.
I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) reciting Surat at-Tin waz Zaitun (By the Fig and the Olive) in the `Isha' prayer and I have never heard anybody with a better voice or recitation than his.
