تَنزِيلُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ 2

Tanzeelul Kitaabi minal laahil 'Azeezil Hakeem

تنزيلُ (The) revelation
الْكتب (of) the Book
من (is) from
الله Allah
الْعزيز the All-Mighty,
الْحكيم the All-Wise.

The revelation of the Book is from God, the Exalted in Might, the Wise

45:3 Juz 25 * Page 499

إِنَّ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ لَأٓيَٰتࣲ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ 3

Innaa fis samaawaati wal ardi la Aayaatil lilmu'mineen

إن Indeed,
فى in
السموت the heavens
والْأرْض and the earth
لءايتٌ surely (are) Signs
للْمُؤْمنين for the believers.

In the heavens and the earth are proofs for the believers

45:4 Juz 25 * Page 499

وَفِي خَلۡقِكُمۡ وَمَا يَبُثُّ مِن دَآبَّةٍ ءَايَٰتࣱ لِّقَوۡمࣲ يُوقِنُونَ 4

Wa fee khalaqikum wa maa yabussu min daaabbatin Aayaatul liqawminy-yooqinoon

وفى And in
خلْقكُمْ your creation
وما and what
يبُثُ He disperses
من of
دابةٌ (the) moving creatures
ءايت (are) Signs
لقوْمٌ for a people
يُوقنُون who are certain.

And in your own creation, and in the creatures He scattered, are signs for people of firm faith

45:5 Juz 25 * Page 499

وَٱخۡتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن رِّزۡقࣲ فَأَحۡيَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَا وَتَصۡرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَٰحِ ءَايَٰتࣱ لِّقَوۡمࣲ يَعۡقِلُونَ 5

Wakhtilaafil laili wannahaari wa maaa anzalal laahu minas samaaa'i mir rizqin fa ahyaa bihil arda ba'da mawtihaa wa tasreefir riyaahi Aayaatul liqawminy ya'qiloon

واخْتلف And (in the) alternation
اليْل (of) the night
والنهار and the day
وما and what
أنزل Allah sends down
اللهُ Allah sends down
من from
السماء the sky
من of
رزْقٌ (the) provision
فأحْيا and gives life
به thereby
الْأرْض (to) the earth
بعْد after
موْتها its death,
وتصْريف and (in) directing
الريح (the) winds
ءايت (are) Signs
لقوْمٌ for a people
يعْقلُون who reason.

And in the alternation of night and day, and in the sustenance God sends down from the sky, with which He revives the earth after its death, and in the circulation of the winds, are marvels for people who reason

Tilka Aayatul laahi natloohaa 'alika bilhaqq, fabiayyi hadeesim ba'dal laahi wa Aayaatihee yu'minoon

تلْك These
ءايتُ (are the) Verses,
الله (of) Allah
نتْلُوها We recite them
عليْك to you
بالْحق in truth.
فبأى Then in what
حديثٌ statement
بعْد after
الله Allah
وءايته and His Verses
يُؤْمنُون will they believe?

These are God’s Verses which We recite to you in truth. In which message, after God and His revelations, will they believe

45:7 Juz 25 * Page 499

وَيۡلࣱ لِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمࣲ‏ 7

Wailul likulli affaakin aseem

ويْل Woe
لكُل to every
أفاكٌ liar
أثيمٌ sinful

Woe to every sinful liar

45:8 Juz 25 * Page 499

يَسۡمَعُ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسۡتَكۡبِرࣰ ا كَأَن لَّمۡ يَسۡمَعۡهَاۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمࣲ‏ 8

Yasma'u Aayaatil laahi tutlaa 'alaihi summa yusirru mustakbiran ka-al lam yasma'haa fabashshirhu bi'azaabin aleem

يسْمعُ Who hears
ءايت (the) Verses
الله (of) Allah
تُتْلى recited
عليْه to him,
ثُم then
يُصرُ persists
مُسْتكْبرًا arrogantly
كأن as if
لمْ not
يسْمعْها he heard them.
فبشرْهُ So give him tidings
بعذابٌ (of) a punishment
أليمٌ painful.

Who hears God's revelations being recited to him, yet he persists arrogantly, as though he did not hear them. Announce to him a painful punishment

45:9 Juz 25 * Page 499

وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا شَيۡـًٔا ٱتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابࣱ مُّهِينࣱ‏ 9

Wa izaa 'alima min Aayaatinaa shai'anit takhazahaa huzuwaa; ulaaa'ika lahum 'azaabum muheen

وإذا And when
علم he knows
منْ of
ءايتنا Our Verses,
شيْـًا anything,
اتخذها he takes them
هُزُوًا (in) ridicule.
أُولئك Those -
لهُمْ for them
عذاب (is) a punishment
مُهين humiliating.

And when he learns something of Our revelations, he takes them in mockery. For such there is a shameful punishment

45:10 Juz 25 * Page 499

مِّن وَرَآئِهِمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَلَا يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُم مَّا كَسَبُواْ شَيۡـࣰٔ ا وَلَا مَا ٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡلِيَآءَۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ 10

Minw waraaa'ihim Jahannamu wa laa yughnee 'anhum maa kasaboo shai'anw wa laa mat takhazoo min doonil laahi awliyaaa'a wa lahum 'azaabun 'azeem

من Before them
ورائهمْ Before them
جهنمُ (is) Hell
ولا and not
يُغْنى will avail
عنْهُم them
ما what
كسبُوا they had earned
شيْـًا anything,
ولا and not
ما what
اتخذُوا they had taken
من besides
دُون besides
الله Allah
أوْلياء (as) protectors.
ولهُمْ And for them
عذاب (is) a punishment
عظيم great.

Beyond them lies Hell. What they have earned will not benefit them at all, nor will those they adopted as lords instead of God. They will have a terrible punishment

45:11 Juz 25 * Page 499

هَٰذَا هُدࣰ ىۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ لَهُمۡ عَذَابࣱ مِّن رِّجۡزٍ أَلِيمٌ 11

Haazaa hudanw wal lazeena kafaroo bi aayaati Rabbihim lahum 'azaabum mir rijzin aleem

هذا This
هُدًى (is) guidance.
والذين And those who
كفرُوا disbelieve
بـايت in (the) Verses
ربهمْ (of) their Lord,
لهُمْ for them
عذاب (is) a punishment
من of
رجْزٌ filth,
أليم painful.

This is guidance. Those who blaspheme their Lord’s revelations will have a punishment of agonizing pain

۞ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ لِتَجۡرِيَ ٱلۡفُلۡكُ فِيهِ بِأَمۡرِهِۦ وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ 12

Allaahul lazee sahkhara lakumul bahra litajriyal fulku feehi bi amrihee wa litabtaghoo min fadlihee wa la'allakum tashkuroon

اللهُ Allah
الذى (is) the One Who
سخر subjected
لكُمُ to you
الْبحْر the sea
لتجْرى that may sail
الْفُلْكُ the ships
فيه therein
بأمْره by His Command,
ولتبْتغُوا and that you may seek
من of
فضْله His Bounty
ولعلكُمْ and that you may
تشْكُرُون give thanks.

It is God who placed the sea at your service, so that ships may run through it by His command, and that you may seek of His bounty, and that you may give thanks

45:13 Juz 25 * Page 499

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعࣰ ا مِّنۡهُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ 13

Wa sakhkhara lakum maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardi jamee'am minh; inna feezaalika la Aayaatil liqawminy yatafakkaroon

وسخر And He has subjected
لكُم to you
ما whatever
فى (is) in
السموت the heavens
وما and whatever
فى (is) in
الْأرْض the earth -
جميعًا all
منْهُ from Him.
إن Indeed,
فى in
ذلك that
لءايتٌ surely are Signs
لقوْمٌ for a people
يتفكرُون who give thought.

And He placed at your service whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth—all is from Him. In that are signs for a people who think

45:14 Juz 25 * Page 500

قُل لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يَغۡفِرُواْ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يَرۡجُونَ أَيَّامَ ٱللَّهِ لِيَجۡزِيَ قَوۡمَۢا بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ 14

Qul lillazeena aamanoo yaghfiroo lillazeena laa yarjoona ayyaamal laahi liyajziya qawmam bimaa kaanoo yaksiboon

قُل Say
للذين to those who
ءامنُوا believe
يغْفرُوا (to) forgive
للذين those who
لا (do) not
يرْجُون hope
أيام (for the) days
الله (of) Allah;
ليجْزى that He may recompense
قوْمًا a people
بما for what
كانُوا they used to
يكْسبُون earn.

Tell those who believe to forgive those who do not hope for the Days of God. He will fully recompense people for whatever they have earned

45:15 Juz 25 * Page 500
Inheritance

مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحࣰ ا فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَنۡ أَسَآءَ فَعَلَيۡهَاۖ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمۡ تُرۡجَعُونَ 15

Maa 'amila saalihan falinafsihee wa man asaaa'a fa'alaihaa summa ilaa Rabbikum turja'oon

منْ Whoever
عمل does
صلحًا a righteous deed,
فلنفْسه then it is for his soul,
ومنْ and whoever
أساء does evil,
فعليْها then it (is) against it.
ثُم Then
إلى to
ربكُمْ your Lord
تُرْجعُون you will be returned.

Whoever does a good deed, it is for his soul; and whoever commits evil, it is against it; then to your Lord you will be returned

45:16 Juz 25 * Page 500

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحُكۡمَ وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقۡنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَفَضَّلۡنَٰهُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ 16

Wa laqad aatainaa Baneee Israaa'eelal Kitaaba walhukma wan Nubuwwata wa razaqnaahum minat taiyibaati wa faddalnaahum;alal 'aalameen

ولقدْ And certainly,
ءاتيْنا We gave
بنى (the) Children of Israel
إسْرءيل (the) Children of Israel
الْكتب the Book
والْحُكْم and the wisdom
والنُبُوة and the Prophethood,
ورزقْنهُم and We provided them
من of
الطيبت the good things
وفضلْنهُمْ and We preferred them
على over
الْعلمين the worlds.

We gave the Children of Israel the Book, and wisdom, and prophecy; and We provided them with the good things; and We gave them advantage over all other people

45:17 Juz 25 * Page 500

وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم بَيِّنَٰتࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ فَمَا ٱخۡتَلَفُوٓاْ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡعِلۡمُ بَغۡيَۢا بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقۡضِي بَيۡنَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَ 17

Wa aatainaahum baiyinaatim minal amri famakh talafooo illaa mim ba'di maa jaaa'ahumul 'ilmu baghyam bainahum; inna Rabbaka yaqdee bainahum Yawmal Qiyaamati feemaa kaanoo feehi yakhtalifoon

وءاتيْنهُم And We gave them
بينتٌ clear proofs
من of
الْأمْر the matter.
فما And not
اخْتلفُوا they differed
إلا except
من after
بعْد after
ما [what]
جاءهُمُ came to them
الْعلْمُ the knowledge,
بغْيًا (out of) envy
بيْنهُمْ between themselves.
إن Indeed,
ربك your Lord
يقْضى will judge
بيْنهُمْ between them
يوْم (on the) Day
الْقيمة (of) the Resurrection
فيما about what
كانُوا they used to
فيه therein
يخْتلفُون differ.

And We gave them precise rulings. They fell into dispute only after knowledge came to them, out of mutual rivalry. Your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection regarding the things they differed about

45:18 Juz 25 * Page 500

ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَٰكَ عَلَىٰ شَرِيعَةࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِ فَٱتَّبِعۡهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ أَهۡوَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ 18

Summa ja'alnaaka 'alaa sharee'atim minal amri fattabi'haa wa laa tattabi'ahwaaa'al-lazeena laa ya'lamoon

ثُم Then
جعلْنك We put you
على on
شريعةٌ an ordained way
من of
الْأمْر the matter;
فاتبعْها so follow it
ولا and (do) not
تتبعْ follow
أهْواء (the) desires
الذين (of) those who
لا (do) not
يعْلمُون know.

Then We set you upon a pathway of faith, so follow it, and do not follow the inclinations of those who do not know

45:19 Juz 25 * Page 500

إِنَّهُمۡ لَن يُغۡنُواْ عَنكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡـࣰٔ اۚ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضࣲۖ وَٱللَّهُ وَلِيُّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ 19

Innahum lany yughnoo 'anka minal laahi shai'aa; wa innaz zaalimeena ba'duhum awliyaaa'u ba'dinw wallaahu waliyyul muttaqeen

إنهُمْ Indeed, they
لن never
يُغْنُوا will avail
عنك you
من against
الله Allah
شيْـًا (in) anything.
وإن And indeed,
الظلمين the wrongdoers
بعْضُهُمْ some of them
أوْلياءُ (are) allies
بعْضٌ (of) others,
واللهُ and Allah
ولىُ (is the) Protector
الْمُتقين (of) the righteous.

They will not help you against God in any way. The wrongdoers are allies of one another, while God is the Protector of the righteous

45:20 Juz 25 * Page 500

هَٰذَا بَصَٰٓئِرُ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدࣰ ى وَرَحۡمَةࣱ لِّقَوۡمࣲ يُوقِنُونَ 20

Haazaa basaaa'iru linnaasi wa hudanw wa rahmatul liqawminy yooqinoon

هذا This
بصئرُ (is) enlightenment
للناس for mankind
وهُدًى and guidance
ورحْمة and mercy
لقوْمٌ for a people
يُوقنُون who are certain.

This is an illumination for mankind, and guidance, and mercy for people who believe with certainty

45:21 Juz 25 * Page 500
Inheritance

أَمۡ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱجۡتَرَحُواْ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ أَن نَّجۡعَلَهُمۡ كَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَوَآءࣰ مَّحۡيَاهُمۡ وَمَمَاتُهُمۡۚ سَآءَ مَا يَحۡكُمُونَ 21

Am hasibal lazeenaj tarahus saiyiaati an naj'alahum kallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilu saalihaati sawaaa'am mahyaahum wa mamaatuhum; saaa'a maa yahkumoon

أمْ Do
حسب think
الذين those who
اجْترحُوا commit
السيـات evil deeds
أن that
نجْعلهُمْ We will make them
كالذين like those who
ءامنُوا believed
وعملُوا and did
الصلحت righteous deeds
سواءً equal
محْياهُمْ (in) their life
ومماتُهُمْ and their death?
ساء Evil is
ما what
يحْكُمُون they judge!

Do those who perpetrate the evil deeds assume that We will regard them as equal to those who believe and do righteous deeds, whether in their life or their death? Evil is their judgment

Section 3: Verses 22–26

وَخَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلِتُجۡزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ 22

Wa khalaqal laahus samaawaati wal arda bilhaqqi wa litujzaa kullu nafsim bimaa kasabat wa hum laa yuzlamoon

وخلق And Allah created
اللهُ And Allah created
السموت the heavens
والْأرْض and the earth
بالْحق in truth
ولتُجْزى and that may be recompensed
كُلُ every
نفْسٌ soul
بما for what
كسبتْ it has earned,
وهُمْ and they
لا will not be wronged.
يُظْلمُون will not be wronged.

God created the heavens and the earth with justice, so that every soul will be repaid for what it has earned. And they will not be wronged

45:23 Juz 25 * Page 501

أَفَرَءَيۡتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ عِلۡمࣲ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ سَمۡعِهِۦ وَقَلۡبِهِۦ وَجَعَلَ عَلَىٰ بَصَرِهِۦ غِشَٰوَةࣰ فَمَن يَهۡدِيهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ٱللَّهِۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ 23

Afara'ayta manit takhaza ilaahahoo hawaahu wa adal lahul laahu 'alaa 'ilminw wa khatama 'alaa sam'ihee wa qalbihee wa ja'ala 'alaa basarihee ghishaawatan famany yahdeehi mim ba'dil laah; afalaa tazakkaroon

أفرءيْت Have you seen
من (he) who
اتخذ takes
إلههُ (as) his god
هوىهُ his desire
وأضلهُ and Allah lets him go astray
اللهُ and Allah lets him go astray
على knowingly,
علْمٌ knowingly,
وختم and He sets a seal
على upon
سمْعه his hearing
وقلْبه and his heart
وجعل and puts
على over
بصره his vision
غشوةً a veil?
فمن Then who
يهْديه will guide him
من after
بعْد after
الله Allah?
أفلا Then will not
تذكرُون you receive admonition?

Have you considered him who has taken his desire for his god? God has knowingly led him astray, and has sealed his hearing and his heart, and has placed a veil over his vision. Who will guide him after God? Will you not reflect

وَقَالُواْ مَا هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا ٱلدُّنۡيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحۡيَا وَمَا يُهۡلِكُنَآ إِلَّا ٱلدَّهۡرُۚ وَمَا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍۖ إِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ 24

Wa qaaloo maa hiya illaa hayaatunad dunyaa namootu wa nahyaa wa maa yuhlikunaaa illad dahr; wa maa lahum bizaalika min 'ilmin in hum illaayazunnoon

وقالُوا And they say,

إلا (is) but
حياتُنا our life
الدُنْيا (of) the world,
نمُوتُ we die
ونحْيا and we live,
وما and not
يُهْلكُنا destroys us
إلا except
الدهْرُ the time."
وما And not
لهُم for them
بذلك of that
منْ any
علْمٌ knowledge;
إنْ not,
هُمْ they
إلا (do) but
يظُنُون guess.

And they say, “There is nothing but this our present life; we die and we live, and nothing destroys us except time.” But they have no knowledge of that; they are only guessing

45:25 Juz 25 * Page 501

وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتࣲ مَّا كَانَ حُجَّتَهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُواْ ٱئۡتُواْ بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ 25

Wa izaa tutlaa 'alaihim aayaatuna baiyinaatim maa kaana hujjatahum illaaa an qaalu'too bi aabaaa'inaaa in kuntum saadiqeen

وإذا And when
تُتْلى are recited
عليْهمْ to them
ءايتُنا Our Verses
بينتٌ clear,
ما not
كان is
حُجتهُمْ their argument
إلا except
أن that
قالُوا they say,
ائْتُوا "Bring
بـابائنا our forefathers
إن if
كُنتُمْ you are
صدقين truthful."

When Our clarifying Verses are recited to them, their only argument is to say, “Bring back our ancestors, if you are truthful.”

قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يُحۡيِيكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمۡ ثُمَّ يَجۡمَعُكُمۡ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ 26

Qulil laahu yuhyeekum summa yumeetukum summa yajma'ukum ilaa Yawmil Qiyaamati laa raiba feehi wa laakinna aksaran naasi laa ya'lamoon

قُل Say,
اللهُ "Allah
يُحْييكُمْ gives you life,
ثُم then
يُميتُكُمْ causes you to die;
ثُم then
يجْمعُكُمْ He will gather you
إلى to
يوْم (the) Day
الْقيمة (of) the Resurrection,
لا no
ريْب doubt
فيه about it."
ولكن But
أكْثر most
الناس (of) the people
لا (do) not
يعْلمُون know.

Say, “God gives you life, then He makes you die; then He gathers you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. But most people do not know.”

وَلِلَّهِ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَيَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ يَخۡسَرُ ٱلۡمُبۡطِلُونَ 27

Wa lillaahi mulkus samaawaati wal ard; wa Yawma taqoomus Saa'atu Yawma 'iziny yakhsarul mubtiloon

ولله And for Allah
مُلْكُ (is the) dominion
السموت (of) the heavens
والْأرْض and the earth;
ويوْم and (the) Day
تقُومُ is established
الساعةُ the Hour,
يوْمئذٌ that Day
يخْسرُ will lose
الْمُبْطلُون the falsifiers.

To God belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth. On the Day when the Hour takes place, on that Day the falsifiers will lose

وَتَرَىٰ كُلَّ أُمَّةࣲ جَاثِيَةࣰۚ كُلُّ أُمَّةࣲ تُدۡعَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ كِتَٰبِهَا ٱلۡيَوۡمَ تُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ 28

Wa taraa kulla ummatin jaasiyah; kullu ummatin tud'aaa ilaa kitaabihaa al Yawma tujzawna maa kuntum ta'maloon

وترى And you will see
كُل every
أُمةٌ nation
جاثيةً kneeling.
كُلُ Every
أُمةٌ nation
تُدْعى will be called
إلى to
كتبها its record,
الْيوْم "Today
تُجْزوْن you will be recompensed
ما (for) what
كُنتُمْ you used to
تعْملُون do.

You will see every community on its knees; every community will be called to its Book: “Today you are being repaid for what you used to do

45:29 Juz 25 * Page 501

هَٰذَا كِتَٰبُنَا يَنطِقُ عَلَيۡكُم بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا نَسۡتَنسِخُ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ 29

Haazaa kitaabunaa yantiqu 'alaikum bilhaqq; innaa kunnaa nastansikhu maa kuntum ta'maloon

هذا This,
كتبُنا Our Record,
ينطقُ speaks
عليْكُم about you
بالْحق in truth.
إنا Indeed, We
كُنا [We] used to
نسْتنسخُ transcribe
ما what
كُنتُمْ you used to
تعْملُون do."

This Book of Ours speaks about you in truth. We have been transcribing what you have been doing.”

Inheritance

فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَيُدۡخِلُهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ فِي رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ 30

Fa ammal lazeena aamaanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati fayudkhiluhum Rabbuhum fee rahmatih; zaalika huwal fawzul mubeen

فأما Then as for
الذين those who
ءامنُوا believed
وعملُوا and did
الصلحت [the] righteous deeds,
فيُدْخلُهُمْ will admit them
ربُهُمْ their Lord
فى in(to)
رحْمته His mercy.
ذلك That
هُو [it]
الْفوْزُ (is) the success
الْمُبينُ clear.

As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them into His mercy. That is the clear triumph

45:31 Juz 25 * Page 501

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ أَفَلَمۡ تَكُنۡ ءَايَٰتِي تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرۡتُمۡ وَكُنتُمۡ قَوۡمࣰ ا مُّجۡرِمِينَ 31

Wa ammal lazeena kafarooo afalam takun Aayaatee tutlaa 'alaikum fastakbartum wa kuntum qawmam mujrimeen

وأما But as for
الذين those who
كفرُوا disbelieved,
أفلمْ "Then were not
تكُنْ "Then were not
ءايتى My Verses
تُتْلى recited
عليْكُمْ to you
فاسْتكْبرْتُمْ but you were proud
وكُنتُمْ and you became
قوْمًا a people
مُجْرمين criminals?"

But as for those who disbelieved: “Were My revelations not recited to you? But you turned arrogant, and were guilty people.”

45:32 Juz 25 * Page 501

وَإِذَا قِيلَ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقࣱّ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيهَا قُلۡتُم مَّا نَدۡرِي مَا ٱلسَّاعَةُ إِن نَّظُنُّ إِلَّا ظَنࣰّ ا وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُسۡتَيۡقِنِينَ 32

Wa izaa qeela inna wa'dallaahi haqqunw was Saa'atu laa raiba feehaa qultum maa nadree mas Saa'atu in nazunnu illaa zannanw wa maa nahnu bimustaiqineen

وإذا And when
قيل it was said,
إن "Indeed
وعْد (the) Promise
الله (of) Allah
حق (is) true
والساعةُ and the Hour -
لا (there is) no
ريْب doubt
فيها about it,
قُلْتُم you said,
ما "Not
ندْرى we know
ما what
الساعةُ the Hour (is).
إن Not
نظُنُ we think
إلا except
ظنًا an assumption,
وما and not
نحْنُ we
بمُسْتيْقنين (are) convinced."

And when it was said, “The promise of God is true, and of the Hour there is no doubt,” you said, “We do not know what the Hour is; we think it is only speculation; we are not convinced.”

45:33 Juz 25 * Page 502

وَبَدَا لَهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا عَمِلُواْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ 33

Wa badaa lahum saiyiaatu maa 'amiloo wa haaqa bihim maa kaanoo bihee yastahzi'oon

وبدا And (will) appear
لهُمْ to them
سيـاتُ (the) evil
ما (of) what
عملُوا they did
وحاق and (will) envelop
بهم them
ما what
كانُوا they used
به [at it]
يسْتهْزءُون (to) mock.

The evils of what they did will become evident to them, and the very thing they ridiculed will haunt them

45:34 Juz 25 * Page 502

وَقِيلَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ نَنسَىٰكُمۡ كَمَا نَسِيتُمۡ لِقَآءَ يَوۡمِكُمۡ هَٰذَا وَمَأۡوَىٰكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ 34

Wa qeelal yawma nansaakum kamaa naseetum liqaaa'a yawmikum haazaa wa maawaakumun Naaru wa maa lakum min naasireen

وقيل And it will be said,
الْيوْم "Today
ننسىكُمْ We forget you
كما as
نسيتُمْ you forgot
لقاء (the) meeting
يوْمكُمْ (of) this Day of yours,
هذا (of) this Day of yours,
ومأْوىكُمُ and your abode
النارُ (is) the Fire,
وما and not
لكُم for you
من any
نصرين helpers.

And it will be said, “Today We forget you, as you forgot the encounter of this Day of yours. Your abode is the Fire, and there are no saviors for you

45:35 Juz 25 * Page 502

ذَٰلِكُم بِأَنَّكُمُ ٱتَّخَذۡتُمۡ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ هُزُوࣰ ا وَغَرَّتۡكُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ لَا يُخۡرَجُونَ مِنۡهَا وَلَا هُمۡ يُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ 35

Zaalikum bi annakumut takhaztum aayaatil laahi huzuwanw wa gharratkumul hayaatud dunyaa; fal yawma laa yukhrajoona minhaa wa laahum yusta'taboon

ذلكُم That
بأنكُمُ (is) because you
اتخذْتُمْ took
ءايت (the) Verses
الله (of) Allah
هُزُوًا (in) ridicule
وغرتْكُمُ and deceived you
الْحيوةُ the life
الدُنْيا (of) the world."
فالْيوْم So this Day
لا not
يُخْرجُون they will be brought forth
منْها from it
ولا and not
هُمْ they
يُسْتعْتبُون will be asked to appease.

That is because you took God’s revelations for a joke, and the worldly life lured you.” So today they will not be brought out of it, and they will not be allowed to repent

45:36 Juz 25 * Page 502

فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَرَبِّ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ 36

Falillaahil hamdu Rabbis samaawaati wa Rabbil ardi Rabbil-'aalameen

فلله Then for Allah
الْحمْدُ (is) all the praise,
رب (the) Lord
السموت (of) the heavens
ورب and (the) Lord
الْأرْض (of) the earth,
رب (the) lord
الْعلمين (of) the worlds.

Praise belongs to God; Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, Lord of humanity

45:37 Juz 25 * Page 502

وَلَهُ ٱلۡكِبۡرِيَآءُ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ 37

Wa lahul kibriyaaa'u fissamaawaati wal ardi wa Huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem

ولهُ And for Him
الْكبْرياءُ (is) the greatness
فى in
السموت the heavens
والْأرْض and the earth,
وهُو and He
الْعزيزُ (is) the All-Mighty,
الْحكيمُ the All-Wise.

To Him belongs all supremacy in the heavens and the earth. He is the Majestic, the Wise
